The painting aspect of this Post-War Home Renovation started in December 2009 and involved:
- Complete Interior and Exterior Painting/Staining of New Constructions built below the existing home
- Complete Removal of Existing Exterior paint coatings and Repaint
- Interior Repainting of Existing Home
- Painting of New Deck Lounge Area at Rear of House
Front and side of the Home after Removal of Paint (Sanding)

Exterior Finish Coatings on the New Construction at Ground Level
We had to prepare before we applied the Finish Coats.
Apply oil-based primer to exposed (rusted) nail heads and put plastic and paper down to keep paint off the decking.
The Interior Painting of the home was challenging but we managed to achieve a Great Paint Finish.
To get these Fine Finishes the key is preparation, preparation, preparation!
Patching, covering items that aren’t being painted, filling gaps and more. These are some steps we take to ensure your home has Great Paint & Stained Finishes.
In the end the Paint Finishes were quite nice and most importantly the home owners were happy. So, when you choose McAuliffe Painting you can expect this and more.
